I got a request to show how to detach audio in Screenflow.

So I made this video and for those of you who use Screenflow, this will show you what to do if you have an MP4 video file and you want to edit it in Screenflow.

It’s pretty straightforward.

You want to open a blank document.

Then go to the “Your Media” icon on the Nav Bar on the upper right.

The icon is the last one all the way to the right,

Click it and then go to the bottom left and click the “add media” button.

Go to your computer and find the file you want to load into Screenflow.

Click open ( you can also drag it to the media box) and it will load to Screenflow.

Once in “Your Media” the file will display.

Drag it to your timeline under the main video window.

Once in the timeline, right click the timeline and in the drop down find and select ” detach audio”.

And there you have it. The new audio track will display under the video track.
