Affiliate Marketing for Beginners

Do as much market research as you can in your prospective market as you pick your final niche. Use the Google Adword tool, Wordtracker for specific keywords. PRWeb, Google News, Ebay, even Drudge can give you insight into hot topics of the day. Research sites like McKinsey or Forrester can point to future trends that are points of opportunity. The more you research the better you will position yourself for success.

YouTube Videos for YouTube Marketing

YouTube Marketing

When you decide to look at  YouTube Videos you can use the various tabs and tools on the viewing area as research tools.

Homepage

Use the Homepage as a way of seeing what is happening in a general sense.  All the different categories will show you what users and the marketplace are looking for and what is popular.

Videos Being Watched, Videos Recommended,Featured Videos,Most Popular across all categories will all indicate what is being served and what is being demanded, in real time and with view numbers right off the start.

Video View

When you view a video out of the search box there are two tabs on either side of the views number that can give you valuable data.

YouTube Marketing- Data tabs

Data Tabs

The one on the left expands the description box and shows an expanded version of the video description. It will also show any added links and product urls the video producer is promoting.  It is a good way to see how that producer sells their products or promotes their service.

The tab to the right of the views number is just as useful.  It can show the popularity of the video or more importantly, it can show the trending data, geographic reach and demographic profile of the intended audience.  This is valuable data you can use in your market research.

Channel

In the Channel , check out the subscribers and friends.  This a great way to see who the followers are that make up a market for the product or service of the channel.  It is a great way to see who the customers are.  This is the type of “out of the box” thinking that can help you find out who the buyers are for a product or service.

If you want more details on how this marketing research works. Check out my videos on my Channel.

I hope this is helpful.

Stay with it, stay well and May Your Travels Be Prosperous.
