I thought it would be helpful to show how to use iPhoto’s photo edit feature in a video so I put this short piece together.
It’s a pretty versatile tool so take the video in and then go have some fun with iPhoto.
I have a transcript for you so just read on if you want to see it.
As usual don’t forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel and give this post a “like”, “google+”, “tweet”,”Pin”, “Stumble” or whatever.
Many thanks for your support.
Hey, Claude Pelanne here, Affiliate Starting Line, welcome. This will be a continuation of my iPhoto series, this is going to be how you edit a photo.
So I just went into iPhoto, and let’s just pick this picture right here. Double-click it, up it comes, you come down here to the lower right hand nav bar, and you see edit, click edit. Now you’re given a nav bar up here, quick fixes, effects, adjust. Quick fixes, exactly what it says, you can rotate, enhance, fix red eyes, straighten, et cetera. Effects, you can pick an effect here that you like, a sepia, the antique, et cetera. I usually go right over here, I keep the picture as is.
Now this gets a lot more interesting because you’re going to control your exposure, your contrast, I’ll bring it down, saturation if I want the picture, a little there, definition, I always play with these to see highlights, shadows, this brings up the dark part of the photos, sharpness, I tend to always add sharpness, not always a lot but some. And then, you know, you can de-noise it if you’ve had a lot of noise, but there you are.
Now you can play with tints, you know, you can see what that does, I’m going to adjust it there, and temperature, color temperature. Then when you’re happy, you’re done. Now I’m always looking for the safe button, etc., that’s not, that’s what that said. If you don’t touch anything, your picture will be saved. I always name it, craftsman home, that’s and arts and crafts house.
And there we are, that’s how you edit a picture in an iPhone. By the way, if you want to share it, click share down here, go to Facebook, Twitter, et cetera. Click it, and as long as you’ve set these up, pretty easy, it will send it right to it.
That’s it, how to edit a photo in iPhoto. Hope this been helpful, Claude Pelanne from Affiliate Starting Line, stay well, talk soon.
