Email Marketing and Management
Aweber – The internet’s most recommended email opt-in service and email marketing/broadcasting tool. Use to build a list, send your newsletter and manage your email campaigns. I use Aweber for all my email needs.
Web Hosting
Hostgator – I host all my websites using HostGator. It’s easy to use, has 1-click automatic WordPress installation, and excellent customer service 24/7.
They have saved me lots of trouble when my sites have gone down. And yes, sites do go down.
Market Research and Keyword Research
Market Samurai – By far the most useful set of tools to do your keyword research, competition analysis, rank checking, content creations, domain name research and more. It is the best tool money can buy and it has great support and tutorials.
Video Tool
Screenflow- I use this screen capture software to make my videos on the mac. I have a set of how to videos that show how to use it.
The Challenge
The Challenge is a great way to get started in affiliate marketing, and even if you are already started, it’s a great way to hone your skills. It’s free and is a self directed program that you take at your own pace. The program started as a 30 day exercise and has now changed to a long form format that allows you to set things up to suit your own schedule. I am current taking it and having fun while I pick up some tips and techniques. There are no gimmicks here just plain good information and hard work.
