How To Send A Private Message On YouTube

Private Messages On YouTube

I was asked by a viewer how to send a private message on YouTube.

So I made a video that explains a couple of ways to send a private message.

What I mean by that is there are a couple of ways to find the Send Message button.

One way is to go to the “About” tab in the nav bar of a Channel Home Page. Click on it and a Send Message button will appear.

You click the button and a mail dialog box opens and you can send your message.

The second way is to find the Channel owners tab on the right sidebar.

Some Channel owners configure their display to hide the nav bar. So that leaves you with the ” by channel owner” drop down on the right side bar.

You click the drop down and the Send Message button appears.

So there you have it. Two ways to send a private message to a Channel owner.

Take in the video and you’ll see what I mean. It’s all laid out for you there.

If you find the information useful, don’t forget to hit the “like”, “Google +”,”tweet”, “Pin” or “Stumble button. Many thanks for  your support.

How To Find The YouTube Inbox Part 4

How To Find The YouTube Inbox Part 4

I just added one more video to the YouTube Inbox series How to find your Inbox.

This one shows how to add Greasemonkey to Firefox or TamperMonkey to Chrome.

These are extensions that let you add code to your browser in order to add functionality.

In this case you are going to add code that will insert the YouTube Inbox tab to the right sidebar of your Homepage.

Remember you want to log into your account before you add these extensions.

Once you have added the extensions, you want to go to http://userscript.org  and in the search box in the right sidebar, you want to type in YouTube Inbox.

This will take you to a page of results and in the middle of the lest you’ll find a link for YouTube Inbox.

Click the link and look for a green button that says Install. Click it.

That installs the code into the browser.

Refresh and you should see a Inbox tab appear in the left sidebar of your Homepage. (Remember you want to logged into your account.)

And there you have it. One more way to get to your inbox.

Hope this post is helpful. Don’t forget to “like”, “tweet”,”Pin”, “Google+”, “Stumble” and let your friends know about this post. Thanks for your support.

Stay with it, stay well and talk soon.

How To Find Your YouTube Inbox Update

April 25, 2013

Had a great comment on my video about how to find your YouTube Inbox. It explained that you can go to the address bar and add /inbox and go to your inbox.

So I made this video update to demonstrate. Have a look and enjoy.

As always, give the video a “like”, “tweet”, “Google+”, “Pin” or “Stumble” if you find this information helpful. Many thanks for your support.

The transcript of the video is next.

Hey. Claude Pelanne here, Affiliate Starting Line. Welcome. It’s going to be a very short video. This is another way to find your inbox when you are looking for it on YouTube. I just got a comment on one of my other videos that shows you how to do it, but this is an even simpler way. Here’s how you do it.

First of all, you’ve got to be logged in to your YouTube channel; you have to be logged in. You can see on the right-hand side, I’m logged in. Step 2: Come up to your address bar, just type in ‘/inbox’. Didn’t know why I didn’t even think of this. Just hit RETURN. Now you go to your inbox; there it is.

You come up, you login to your channel, you come up to the address bar. ‘YouTube/inbox’, it will take you directly to your inbox. That’s it for the video. Hope it’s been helpful. Thank you, Henry, for pointing that out. I’m just doing this on video because it wasn’t obvious in the comments that that’s where you want to go, to the address bar. That’s it. Hope this is helpful. Claude Pelanne, Affiliate Starting Line. Stay with it. Stay well. Talk soon.

How To Find Your Subscriber List In YouTube

If you have a YouTube channel then you know that it can be frustrating to have the layout change on you without notice.

When that happens, how to find your subscriber list in your YouTube channel becomes an issue.

Well, it happened to me and I took the time to plug away at it and find it.

So I made this video and it shows how you go into your personal homepage and click the subscriber tab in the nav bar.

Simple enough.

But if you’ve been conditioned to go the the left sidebar, click the inbox tab and then select Address book to find the subscriber tab, then doing the simple thing is not so obvious.

So now you can take in the video and all is solved.

As always, don’t forget to “like”, “tweet”, “pin”,”Google+” or “stumble” the post if you find the information helpful. Many thanks for your support.

Go into your homepage through Video Manager just like before and look at the left hand sidebar.

That’s where you’ll find the new menu with the Inbox tab.

The navbar has disappeared from the Video Manger page and all the tabs are on the left in the sidebar.

So there you have it.

I figured I’d do the update and get this out for those of you use do YouTube marketing and have your own channels.

New YouTube Design - How To Find Your YouTube Subscribers

Where To Find Your Subscriber List in Your Channel Back Offiice

When YouTube made its changes to the Channel and Dashboard layouts, there were lots of issues regarding how to find your inbox and also how to find your YouTube subscribers.

Well I made on video on how to find your Inbox.

And now I just did a follow up on how to find your channel subscribers.

Now there are two areas that relate to subscriptions and subscribers.

Subcriptions vs Subscribers

There are subscriptions that you sign up for because you want to follow someone’s channel.

This subscription list you will now find on your YouTube homepage in the left hand sidebar.

This is not to be confused with the subscriber page of those people who have opted to subscribe to your YouTube channel.

How To Find Your Subscribers

Your YouTube subscribers are found, not on your Homepage but on a separate page found after clicking the subscriber tab in your channel back office.

To get to it you go to the Inbox drop down, select the Channel tab.

When you get to your Channel page, go the the Nav Bar and click the Subscriber tab displaying the number of your subscribers.

Once you do that, you’ll go to the first page of your subscribers pages.

At the bottom of the first page, you’ll find a pagination bar with a series of numbers.

These are the pages that will display the icons of the subscribers who have opted to subscribe to your channel.

To see how to do all this, just check out the video above and you’ll get it all in one easy visual lesson.

As always, if you find this information helpful, please “tweet”, “Like”,”Google +”, “Stumble”, “Pin” it and many thanks for doing so.

With that, stay with it, stay well and talk soon.

YouTube – How To Find Your Inbox

If you have a YouTube Channel you know that things change all the time with the design.

Well they have been changing a lot lately and I came into my channel and could find my Inbox.

So I started to hunt and after a while I found the nav bar with the Inbox tab on it.

It’s frustrating because I was used to finding it in the drop down by my channel name.

But the folks at Google think it’s better if you have your google profile on the right upper of the nav bar.

Nothing wrong with that but it would have been nice to leave notice where you could find the info that was in that drop down that disappeared.

Anyway, after I figured it out, I made a video to help whomever is stuck with the same problem I had.

So here it is.

If you find it helpful, give it a “Like”, “tweet”,”google+”, “Pin” and whatever else will let your friends know there is help here.

Many thanks and enjoy.
